If you see some things in your life not working out, could it be that you’re contributing to at least some of the things that are not going your way? Could it be that you need to change some things about you?
And how do we change things on the inside so that we can potentially see the results on the outside?
Here are a few ideas to get you going.
Start paying attention to your limiting beliefs and challenge them. Pick up new thoughts and beliefs that are helpful and balanced.
Pay attention to your behavior choices and habits. Are they to your benefit? Or are they holding you back?
Pay attention to your feelings. Feelings are here to give us information. Don’t dismiss them or shove them down. Sit with them and ask them what they are trying to tell you. Feelings are usually connected to a thought. So what is the thought that is leading you to those feelings? Are those thoughts accurate and helpful?
Practice gratitude. The more you pay attention to the blessings in your life and what actually is working, the more you will make room for the same. Gratitude will have an undeniable effect on your mental, physical and spiritual health.
Get curious about your values. Am I living according to my values? What are my values anyway? Do I need to adopt new values?
Practice self-compassion. Be patient with yourself as you are trying to figure out your next move, or if things are taking longer than you’d like. Be patient and keep going.
Say No to the situations and responsibilities that you don’t want. Healthy boundaries are essential for healthy living. Lack of ability to say no usually goes back to poor self-worth. How are you doing in that area?
